The Colussi Family Foundation is a U.S. 501(c)(3) Private Operating Foundation.
It operates globally under the humanitarian initiative Give Basic Needs, which serves as the public-facing expression of the foundation’s mission to reduce suffering and increase happiness through direct support in the areas of food, shelter, and medical services.

Give Basic Needs is the global humanitarian initiative of the Colussi Family Foundation.
Under this name, the foundation carries out charitable work designed to meet basic human needs and support vulnerable individuals and communities through practical compassion and direct service.

Regional Operations in Ghana
In West Africa, regional operations are carried out by Give Basic Needs (Ghana LBG), an independent, registered Ghanaian International NGO.
Give Basic Needs (Ghana LBG) operates under an exclusive trademark and service license, allowing it to carry out mission-aligned humanitarian work within the region while maintaining its own legal registration in Ghana.
This structure supports local implementation while preserving consistency in mission, identity, and service approach.
How Our Organizational Structure Works
The Colussi Family Foundation provides the overarching mission, grant support, and global identity through Give Basic Needs.
Give Basic Needs (Ghana LBG) serves as the regional implementation partner for West Africa, carrying out programs and activities on the ground in alignment with the shared humanitarian mission.
Together, this arrangement supports the direct provision of:
- Food
- Shelter
- Medical services
Grant Support and Implementation
